Each team member is not just a skilled dancer but also has a unique personality. They all have something new and different to bring to the table each time. Collectively, our team members have put India on the map in the world of Latin Dancing. They continue to excel and have made us proud on several occasions.

OUR INSTRUCTORS

When you attend any of our classes or workshops, look out for these friendly faces. Our instructors receive intensive training in dance as well as in teaching methods. Each one delivers informative and technically rich classes. Our students performing on different stages across the globe is the result of these instructors working tirelessly with them.

Deepak Kumar

Head Instructor

His exquisite footwork is appreciated by many. When he is on stage, it is his infectious smile, quick movements, and unique style that captivates the audience. Deepak Kumar is a senior instructor at The Salsa Empire with many titles to his name.
He has brought home the gold in the Men’s Salsa Solo and Same-Gender divisions in IIDC, Asia’s Biggest Latin Event. He has bagged the gold medal for Ludhiana in National Dance Sports. He was also the winner of Jalandhar’s Got Talent in the year 2016, becoming a favorite of the panel and the audience from his very first performance. Deepak Kumar has also represented India in various Latin Dance congresses across the globe.

Ranveer Khurana

Assistant Instructor

One of the youngest Latin Dance instructors in the country, Ranveer Khurana is undoubtedly a rising star in the international Latin Dance Scene. His precise technique and strong personality on stage help in stand out, no matter where in the world he performs. He has also been appreciated for his outstanding performances by some of the leading artists in the Latin Dance Scene.

Ranveer is also popular by his YouTube name “MJ-Ranveer”. His skills are not limited to Latin Dancing but also extend to Kathak, Bellydancing, Breakdancing, Lyrical Contemporary and Bhangra. He has won the hearts of many with his shows in various all over the world. Ranveer is also an avid Badminton player, representing his school in tournaments.

His most recent achievement is the title of “World Salsa Champion”. In the year 2020, he and his partner Tamanna Khotari represented India in the “World Salsa Championship 2020” which was held in New York. In this online championship, Ranveer and Tamanna competed against stellar dancers from across the globe, winning Gold for India.

Our core team includes our top performers and competition dancers. They travel with us, perform on the most prestigious stages the world over, and even get to learn from internationally acclaimed instructors. Our core team members have several titles to their name and continue to make us proud with their achievements.

Deniz Akgul

Deniz, who hails from Turkey, has her own philosophy of dancing. For her dance means being completely free. Her style is inspired by the music that she is dancing to. Her incredible sense of musicality makes her a delight to watch when she dances. She combines her graceful movements with an athletic posture to make an impact every time she is on stage. Deniz pays close attention to styling, footwork and intricate afro Cuban body movements to capture the real essence of each movement.

Aarushi Saxena

At just 13 years of age, Aarushi has an impressive number of achievements in the field of dance. She carries the attitude of an experienced dancer on stage and executes movements powerfully. When Aarushi is on stage, it is impossible to take your eyes off her.
She was the winner of the Asia Pacific International Dance Championship in Bangkok in the year 2019. She won the solo and couple categories in both Salsa and Bachata. Aarushi has won the Asia Championship in Salsa and Bachata Couples Amateur and Solo categories. She retained this title for three consecutive years. She has also performed on several reality shows and TV shows for which she has received incredible reviews.

Tamana & Amanat

Commonly known as Kothari sisters. Both of them have won millions of hearts at many salsa events in India and abroad. At the age of 16 Kothari sisters have won same gender title at Bangkok and Bangalore salsa festival. The duo is well trained in Salsa, Belly and Indian classical dance form. Apart from Duo both of them have also won Salsa Solo titles at several salsa championships.

Noel Charles

Noel’s best quality as a dancer is the clarity in every move. Whether it is footwork or body movement, he manages to hit every beat. This makes his performances exciting for anyone to watch. Noel is also one of the most versatile dancers on our team.
He has even received awards from Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering in Jalandhar for his dancing skills. In 2019, Noel bagged the 1st Runner Up title in the Asian Championship held at India International Dance Congress, Bangalore. He competed in the Salsa Amateur category among some of the best dancers across the country. Noel has also performed at several Latin Dance Festivals in India and abroad, sharing the stage with accomplished dancers.

Vipin Bhardwaj

Vipin Bhardwaj has been living his passion since the past several years of dancing experience in both learning and teaching in various forms such as Salsa, Bachata, Zumba, Hip-Hop & Contemporary.

His natural grace, flexibility, and astonishing rhythm sets him apart and makes him a highly sought after professional dancer in Salsa, Bachata and Latin dance forms. Also He won India Bachata cup & salsa championship in Singapore International Latin Festival.
